Intelli Innovations Inc. has updated ProSQL, the object-oriented remote database management system for Mac OS X and Mac OS 9.x, to version 2.0, which adds support for Mac OS X 10.3 (“Panther”), which is due for release this week.
ProSQL connects to remote MySQL, PostgreSQL, FrontBase, OpenBase, REALbasic Database and ProSQL data sources. In addition to Panther support, version 2.0 adds refinements for use on Mac OS X, including smooth window resizing and faster user interface performance. There are new AppleScript query automation capabilities that allow ProSQL to act as a helper application to other programs or SQL data retrieval. ProSQL 2.0 can pass or tab-export any query via AppleScript commands.
ProSQL 2.0 requires Mac OS X (10.1 or later) or Mac OS 9 (9.1 or later). It costs US$99 and is available as an electronic download or on CD. Upgrades to 2.0 from previous versions of ProSQL are free.
