Adobe Systems Inc. and Wacom Technology Co. will join Apple for a special event being held in Chicago tomorrow night, October 23, 2003. The event will be held at Apple’s North Michigan Ave. retail store from 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Employees from Adobe and Wacom will show attendees what’s new from their respective companies using Apple hardware. Adam Pratt, Application Engineer for Adobe Systems, will show the recently announced Photoshop CS (8), part of Adobe’s Creative Suite. Features such as the improved file browser, Camera RAW support, 16-bit support, non-square pixels and layer comps will be covered during the event.
Wes Maggio, Regional Sales Manager for Wacom, will be presenting how the pressure-sensitive Intuos2 Platinum tablet adds great functionality to Photoshop. Photoshop CS has 20 pressure-sensitive tools included, so this part of the session will be of particular interest to those considering an upgrade.
The event will be followed by a Q&A session and two attendees will win an Adobe Creative Suite t-shirt.
