Apple has released an update to Keynote, its presentation software. The new version — v1.1.1 — is available for download through the Software Update system preferences pane.
Keynote provides users with the ability to create presentations complete with graphics, charts, tables and other content. The software leverages Apple technologies like QuickTime and Quartz Extreme to provide advanced graphics capabilities and 3D transitions. Keynote includes a variety of different “themes” from which to choose, and has been the subject of a fair amount of third-party add-on development as well.
This new release of Keynote improves stability, according to Apple. Also added are “user experience enhancements,” including a new preference to control cube and flip transition clipping individually.
Mac OS X v10.2.8 or higher is required for use with Keynote v1.1.1. The update measures 31.3MB.
