Lexar Media Inc. on Monday introduced its JumpDrive Music. JumpDrive Music is a USB-based flash storage device that also plays MP3 music; it’s compatible with both Mac and Windows PCs.
JumpDrive Music will be available in 128MB and 256MB capacities, priced at US$89.99 and $159.99 respectively. Features of the JumpDrive Music include a backlit LCD display, equalizer and player controls. JumpDrive Music supports both MP3 and WMA digital music formats.
Look for JumpDrive Music to hit retailers in November — it comes with a AAA battery, earbud headphones, lanyard and USB cable. It’s compatible with Mac OS X and Mac OS 9, as well as various flavors of Windows.
