IntelliGents LLC announced Monday that its NoteWorthy Virtual Notecards software will be released for Mac OS X on November 1, 2003.
NoteWorthy Virtual Notecards is a database system built on the concept of “virtual notecards.” It’s suitable for tracking notes, quotes and bibliographic information, and it’s cross-platform. Users can store millions of notes and quotes, each up to hundreds of pages in length, complete with keywords and bibliographic links.
NoteWorthy Virtual Notecards also allows for data to be imported from bibliographic information like EndNote and ProCite, and provides cut and paste support for other programs and Web browsers. Entries can also be hot-linked to Web site URLs.
This new release — version 2.0 — runs on both Mac OS X and Mac OS 9. It can import data from the previous release for “Classic” Mac OS and Windows.
Users can pre-order NoteWorthy Virtual Notecards for US$39 until November 1st; existing users can upgrade for $14.95. The software’s regular single user license cost is $99.
