Apple will be an exhibitor at the seventh annual Digital Video Expo West, which will be held Dec. 9-12, 2003 at the Los Angeles (Calif.) Convention Center. The conference and exhibition is targeted to the professional digital video community.
The 2003 event offers a full-day DV Intensive class focusing on “The Power of Lighting” and half-day DV Expert Series workshops featuring “Photoshop for Nonlinear Editor,” “Audio for Video Editors,” “DV Cameras” and “Compression.” What’s more, 90-minute DV Experts Series sessions will cover such topics as “Type Design for Video,” “DVD Authoring” and “Color Correction.” Expo attendees will have the opportunity to attend numerous special events, including free sessions on “Digital Video in the Classroom,” “Video Art in the Age of DV,” “Machinima: The Making of a New Medium” and “Producing Digital Hollywood.”
The seventh annual Digital Video Expo West also marks the return for the 4th Annual DV Film Festival, which will showcase the talents of digital filmmakers on Dec. 10 and 11. In addition to Apple, other exhibitors include Adobe, Avid, Canon USA, Canopus, Discreet, Hitachi, JVC, Matrox, Panasonic, Pioneer and Sony.
