iStopMotion developer Boinx Software has released iRecordNow, a software application that enables users of Apple’s iSight Webcam to record video.
iRecordNow sports a one-button interface. You click the record button, it starts recording. Click again and the recording stops. Several pre-defined settings can be used to control format and compression. You can also control brightness, saturation and color hue. Once you’re done recording video, the movie clips can then be imported into iMovie of Final Cut Pro for further editing.
Boinx Software notes that iRecordNow works with “lots of other cameras,” but Apple’s iSight is the only camera that’s fully supported at this time.
iRecordNow costs US$14.95 to register. A demo version is available from the Web site, and users can request a one-day demo license to try iRecordNow out themselves.
