Badia Software has updated Exportools XT, a QuarkXPress XTension for exporting individual pages of a document to different file formats, to version 1.5, adding support for QuarkXPress 6 and Mac OS X (10.2 and higher).
Exportools XT lets you automate the process of saving pages as individual files in a variety of formats, including high resolution EPS, PostScript, plain or rich text, page screenshots and HTML. You can choose which pages or spreads to export, the rules governing the file names, even the application to open the new files for post-processing.
The application lets you automate the creation of page image files with such applications as Photoshop; extract the entire layout text for e-mailing or word processing; create thumbnails of your pages for archiving or cataloguing; save individual pages or spreads as PostScript files for printing or imposition; and publish your print documents online.
Exportools XT 1.5 costs US$79.99. Updates from version 1.1 are $29.99; however, if you purchased Exportools 1.1 on or after Aug. 27, you’re entitled to a free upgrade.
