Bitcartel Software has released RAW, which allows users to record Internet audio as MP4-AAC files.
The software supports audio output from RealOne Player, QuickTime, MIDI, Flash and MP3, M3U and EXTM3U streaming net radio. The recorded files are compatible with the iPod, and the software is extensible using AppleScript as well. You can use RAW to make multiple recordings at the same time, and you can split recordings manually or automatically by time.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2 or later (it’s Panther-compatible also), QuickTime 6.2 or later, Safari 1.0 installed, and 50MB or more hard disk space. RAW costs US$20.
