DreamCatcher Interactive Inc. subsidiary The Adventure Company announced Tuesday plans to release a Mac conversion of its new adventure game The Omega Stone this December.
Developed by Omni Interactive, The Omega Stone is billed as a “classic adventure that sends intrepid explorers on a quest to prevent a terrible disaster prophesized by the ancients.” The sequel to The Riddle of the Sphinx, the game features scenery rendered from Stonehenge, Easter Island, and the Lost City of Atlantis. The game features real time screen animations, cut scenes and full motion video.
The Mac conversion is being handled by TransGaming Technologies, which has previously partnered with Aspyr Media on some of their Mac game conversions.
The Adventure Company expects to ship The Omega Stone in December for a suggested retail price of US$29.99.
