Circus Ponies Software Inc. has released NoteBook v1.2, a new version of its Mac OS X application for organizing and sharing notes. The 1.2 release adds new features including one-step HTML export.
The HTML export feature works with single pages, entire Notebooks and more. Options exist to let users customize style, content and site structure of exported Notebooks.
A new security framework has been added to help lock down Notebook content. Users can apply configurable covers, password protection and encryption to help protect sensitive information. A multidimensional sorting capability has also been added to help users sort data on one or more criteria or “sorting routines.” Three new kinds of searches are supported, as well — case-sensitive, wildcard and literal. Other improvements have been made as well.
NoteBook v1.2 is a free update for registered users. The software costs US$49.95 for a full license.
