Adventure Elf released
Blockdot has released Adventure Elf, a side scrolling action game for Mac and Windows that’s the fourth installment of their Oliver Elf games. Just in time for Christmas.
Adventures on Pirate Isle released
Feline Entertainment, maker of Solace, has released Adventures on Pirate Isle, its own entry into the uDevGame 2003 contest. It’s billed as a classic platformer.
Argonaut 2149 debuts
Danlab Games has released Argonaut 2149, its entry into this year’s uDevGame2003 contest. It’s billed as a “freeware Asteroids game with 3D graphics” in which you battle space pirates and scavengers in the asteroid fields.
Burning Monkey trailer posted
Want to see Freeverse’s Burning Monkey Solitaire 3 in action? Apple has posted a QuickTime movie trailer to its Web site.
Hillbilly Whack! released
Small Fry Studios has released Hillbilly Whack! for Mac OS X. It’s designed to look and play like an old-school console game from the Atari 2600 days.
Lux adds features
Sillysoft has updated its Risk-style strategy game to version 3.6. The new release adds post-game ranking reports, a Refresh Game List button and more. It’s a free update for registered users — registration costs $15.
Pop the Wheezil released
Ground Zero Software Inc. has released Pop the Wheezil, an action puzzle game in which you must align different colored balloons in rows and columns — get four, and they’ll all pop.
Primate Plunge available
Another uDevGame 2003-related release is Primate Plunge. You must help a monkey swing through a constantly cascading field of branches as you collect powerups. The game has five worlds in all.
Solitaire Till Dawn X v1.2 released
Semicolon Software has released Solitaire Till Dawn X v1.2, a new release of their Mac OS X-native solitaire game for the Mac. The new version adds five new games and has improved statistics.
