Chronopath Inc. has announced the release of Restore, an archival and restore tool, and DomainTracker, a tool for monitoring and organizing domains.
Restore lets you “track” files and archive them based on a schedule you determine. You can revert to older versions, and you can specify how many versions of a document you want to archive. Its interface is contained in a status menu that shows you the file manager and preferences when you need them.
Released as shareware, Restore costs US$15 to register and requires Mac OS X v10.1 or higher.
Also new from Chronopath is DomainTracker, a new utility for Mac OS X v10.3 “Panther” that can be used to organize and track Internet domain names you already own or wish to purchase. The software features auto-fill functions and color labeling to help easily show you when a domain is available, owned, or about to expire. You can use DomainTracker to filter and sort domain names in the main list, recover a whois listing of the domain and more.
Also released as shareware, DomainTracker costs $10 to register. Again, it’s for Panther only.
