Buy a new Mac between now and Feb. 28 and you can save US$300 if you buy Final Cut Pro 4 and DVD Studio Pro 2. Or you can buy both products without a Mac and get a discount of $150. The offer is available only at participating Apple Authorized Resellers and requires a mail-in rebate that’s available at Apple’s Web site.
Final Cut Pro 4 is Apple’s editing software for film, HD, SD and DV. It has a suggested retail price of $999. The latest version of the application was released on June 5.
DVD Studio Pro 2, which shipped Aug. 6, is Apple’s professional DVD authoring program. It integrates with Final Cut Pro and costs US$499.
