Peripheral maker and distributor Dr. Bott LLC announced Friday a new bundle deal on ElGato’s EyeTV and ATI’s Remote Wonder. The EyeTV lets Mac users record video from their TV or cable, while the Remote Wonder is a programmable remote control.
Dr. Bott claims the bundle is an exclusive, and said that it offers a savings of US$34 compared to purchasing each device separately. It’s available for $214.95.
The EyeTV connects to your Mac’s USB port and provides you with the ability to record video straight to your hard disk. It can work with Roxio Toast Titanium if you want to archive video off to CD-R, and offers scheduling features as well. The Remote Wonder operates using Radio Frequency (RF), so it doesn’t require a direct line-of-sight to the Macintosh in order to function — it can even work through walls, according to the company.
The bundle works on any Mac with built-in USB running Mac OS X v10.1.5 or higher. Visit the Dr. Bott Web site for details.
