TOPO! features maps created by National Geographic and the U.S.G.S, and each map sports five lvels of detail. The mapping software enables you to view 1:24,000 and 1:100,000 scale topographic maps on your Mac, print them, and customzie them with routes, symbols, notes, Web links and photos. You can also visit National Geographic’s mapXchange resource to share trail files with other TOPO! users.
A search function helps you find trials, caps, campgraounds, lakes and ponds, parks and other features. You can export maps to various raster file formats to be used in other applications, add map border information, and lots more. Plus, TOPO! works with GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) systems out-of-the-box.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2 or later or Mac OS 9.0 or later. The price of each map is US$99.95.
