Phase One today released version 1.2 of their C1 Pro RAW conversion software for use with Canon digital SLR cameras. The software (which is expected to gain Nikon D1X and D100 support in the first quarter of 2004) features a number of significant enhancements, according to the company.
C1 Pro version 1.2 sports a “drastic improvement” to the user interface, uses a new folder-organziation scheme, as well as a number of new features including:
Individual noise reduction for each image. Image saturation adjustment slider. Automatic levels adjustment. “Quick Develop” setting for fast conversion to TIFF or JPEG. Dual image viewer for side-by-side comparison. Unlimited number of different output formats per conversion. Embedded copyright text in output image. Alignment grid and guides. Dual screen support with separate thumbnail browser.
