Earlier this month Ukraine-based software developer CS Odessa announced a pre-release version of its new ConceptDraw Project software package. Now the company has released the full version for Mac and Windows.
ConceptDraw Project is a brainstorming tool developed to handle collaborative projects. It’s aimed at project managers, business specialists, educators and others who need to outline projects, plan activities, assign tasks and identify the resources they’ll need to get the job done. ConceptDraw Project builds on the common platform that CS Odessa has created for other ConceptDraw products including ConceptDraw V, Mindmap, Presenter and others.
ConceptDraw Project provides tools like Gantt charts, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) charts, and mindmap views. A Quick-Start project assistant also helps users get their project planning off the ground quickly by identifying goals, risk and obstacles. The software can generate status reports, and exports the content to the Web or PDF.
A Desktop Edition of ConceptDraw Project is available for US$179. CS Odessa also makes it available for educational and government users for $99. ConceptDraw Project requires Mac OS X v10.1 or later.
