Aladdin Systems Inc. on Thursday released Internet Cleanup v1.1, a new version of their utility suite that deletes and remove “Internet clutter” left behind by various net-aware software applications.
The new version of Internet Cleanup adds support for Mac OS X v10.3 “Panther” and also adds new spyware tracking capablities, better online help and a new iSupport menu in the NetBlockade utility that gains access to updates and quick help.
Internet Cleanup works by blocking banner ads, pop-up ads, and detecting the presence of “spyware.” It also removes Web browser cookie files, hsitory files and other files that can be used to trace your Internet meanderings. Internet Cleanup works with Safari and Internt Explorer as well as other Mac Web browsers.
A new demo version of Internet Cleanup is also available.
Internet Cleanup requires Mac OS X v10.1.5 or Mac OS 9.1 or higher. It costs US$29.99.
