FileMaker Pro expert John Mark Osborne is bringing his intermediate and advanced Scripting and Calculation training to San Jose, Calif. next February. Entitled “Philosophy of Scripting 101” and “Philosophy of Scripting 201,” each course is culled from content that’s in Osborne’s book and CD-ROM, “Scriptology — FileMaker Pro Demystified.”
The curriculum for the intermediate course includes information on script organization, modular scripting, marking records, calculations, Set Field techniques. The advanced course covers dynamic scripting, restoring records, “referential integrity” and much more.
The Intermediate course is a three day program, while the advanced course is two days long. The fee for each class is US$995, and there’s a $250 break if you register for both simultaneously. The intermediate class is scheduled for February 23 – 25, 2003, and the advanced class is scheduled for February 26 and 27.
