Avondale Media and IDG World Expo have announced the addition of the popular iDay Digital Media Seminar to the 2004 Macworld Conference & Expo roster. The event, which will take place on Friday, January 9th, 2004, will be a “fun, informative full-day seminar devoted to helping Mac users maximize their cameras, camcorders, and iPods.”
iDay Digital Media Seminar attendees will learn digital photography and video techniques and find out more about using their Mac as a digital hub. Seminar host Jim Heid is the editorial director for Avondale, and is the author of “The Macintosh Life” from Peachpit Press. Heid has also been a contributing editor of Macworld since 1984, and authors the “Digital Hub” column there.
Registration for iDay 2004 costs $99 and iDay attendees are eligible for a 15 percent discount on all Macworld Conference packages.
Information on the seminar is available online along with a free 18-page update to Heid’s book that covers iTunes 4, the iTunes Music Store, and the latest iPods.
