has released version 2.0 of Business Card Composer, their Mac OS X tool for creating and printing business cards.
Version 2.0 adds a number of user-requested features. Users can now search for and use images from the Internet simply by entering keywords in Business Card Composer.
A new online print shop is now available. Similar to the way that iPhoto allows users to order prints or books online, the new software is integrated with a print service, allowing users to have submit their designs online. Orders are delivered upon completion to the user’s address.
New custom layouts allow for custom paper types and sizes, and allows the software to be used for labels, invitations, cards, etc. Avery, Apli, Decadry, Sigel, A-One paper layouts and many other are supported.
With Address Book integration, it’s possible to create ID cards or invitations by merging contacts with card designs.
Business Card Composer is available
for $39.95. Existing users can upgrade for free via the company’s
Web site. The program requires Mac OS X 10.2 or higher. The company also offers bundles of Business Card Composer and Readiris OCR packages.
