Tonight’s Your Mac Life show will feature Rick Smolan, one of the coordinators of the America 24/7 Project, along with Your Mac Life’s picks for “cool products” for Mac lovers on your holiday shopping list.
America 24/7 gathered nearly 4,000 professional photographers and tens of thousands of amateurs for a week in May to document the lives of American homes and businesses. Together, more than a million digital photos were taken, and the Mac served an important role. Tonight, Macworld Expo Conference Chair Paul Kent talks with Rick Smolan about how the Mac helped all that to come together, and Smolan will also offer details about his conference at next month’s Macworld Expo.
Your Mac Life did an in-store live even at the Lenox Square Mall Apple Store in Atlanta, Ga. this past Monday. They’ll be talking about the cool products discovered there, and they’ll also be fielding calls from listeners about what they plan on giving (or hope to get) this year.
Your Mac Life also plans to announce the winners of the Macworld Expo Conference Pass Contest. If you’re planning on going to next month’s event and you need a place to stay, make sure to check out the special deal available to Your Mac Life listeners.
Peter Cohen of MacCentral will also be on-hand with the latest Mac game news report. If you have any questions for tonight’s guests, make sure to drop Your Mac Life a line.
If you feel like chatting with other YML listeners while you’re listening to the show, you can visit World Without BorderS or use the dedicated IRC server at irc.netmug.org in the #yourmaclife channel.
