Freeverse Software on Thursday announced the release of Burning Monkey Casino. The game is shipping to retail stores and carries a suggested retail price of US$19.95.
Burning Monkey Casino — using the same primate personalities found in Freeverse’s popular Burning Monkey Solitaire game series — features five different games of chance and skill, all encompassed in a lounge-lizard theme that looks like it’s straight out of a Rat Pack movie.
Blackjack, Poker, Slots, 3-Card Monty and Scratch ‘n’ Win comprise the five games included in this collection, and each one features a number of variations to keep up the challenge. Burning Monkey Casino even sports a lounge act and a bad stand-up comedian to complete the casino motif. The developers have also noted that there’s an easter egg in the game — type in “pachinko” to get a basic pachinko simulator.
Burning Monkey Casino will be available at Apple resellers and from the Freeverse e-store. System requirements call for a G3/333MHz or faster; Mac OS X; RAGE 128 or better video card; 64MB RAM and 30MB hard disk space.
