Macworld magazine, the most comprehensive resource for the Macintosh market, has named the recipients of the nineteenth annual Editors’ Choice Awards for 2003.
The Editors’ Choice Awards (Eddy Awards), the Macintosh industry’s most prestigious distinction for breakthrough product development, are given to the year’s top hardware and software products chosen by Macworld’s editorial department. The Macworld editors looked at nearly every new Mac product on the market between Nov. 1, 2002 to Nov. 1, 2003, evaluating their overall quality as well as their utility, innovation, and elegance.
“Macworld’s editors spend all year evaluating products in the Mac market, and now it’s time to honor the very best of that bunch,” said Macworld editor in chief Jason Snell. “We feel that all 35 of the products we’ve chosen this year represent the very best that the Mac market has to offer. From huge electronics companies to tiny software developers, this year’s winners all have one thing in common — really excellent products for the Mac platform.”
