Now Software on Tuesday announced the release of Now Up-To-date & Contact v4.5.1, an update to their calendar and contact maker for Macintosh. The new version includes performance enhancements and feature updates, and has been thoroughly testing with Mac OS X v10.3 “Panther,” according to its developers.
Refinements in this new release include contextual menu support and improved importing of text files to Contact. Web calendar creation has been improved with an upgrade to the Public Event Server, whose performance has been improved as well. Also, Now Software has made numerous memory, error, script and operational fixes.
The update is available to registered users of version 4 or higher. New licenses cost US$129 for the boxed version or $119 for the download version.
Now Software noted that in 2004, it will introduce Now Up-To-Date & Contact 5.0 for Macintosh. The company anticipates the new version’s release in “the later half of 2004.”
