IDG World Expo on Wednesday announced that the Macintosh Gaming Area will return to Macworld Conference & Expo. The show runs from January 5 – 9, 2004 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, Calif.
An all-new Mac Gaming Arcade located on the exhibit hall floor is sponsored by Apple. Populated with Power Mac G5s and 17-inch iMacs, the Mac Gaming Arcade is where gamers will be able to get their hands on the latest top game titles from Mac game publishers like Aspyr Media, MacSoft and others.
Featured games will include Halo, Unreal Tournament, Age of Mythology, Indiana Jones, Splinter Cell, Tron 2.0, Ghost Master and many more.
What’s more, this year’s event also features a two-day Power Tools Conference on game development which runs Wednesday, January 7 and Thursday, January 8. The conference is chaired by Indiespace founder and CEO Jeannie Novack, and will discuss “the basics of game development, including platforms, genres, applications, story and character development, gameplay, design, art and sound.”
