Fourth World Media Corp. on Thursday shipped WebMerge v2.3, a new version of its tool that turns database and spreadsheet data into static Web pages.
WebMerge products HTML from any database or spreadsheet that exports in tab-delimited, merge or other tabular formats. WebMerge then makes new Web pages from the data by using simple tags in HTML template pages. WebMerge can create index pages with links to detail pages and more.
New to this release is TagMaker, a utility that lets WebMerge users write tags more easily, search and replace options in field tags, preset delimiters for parsing affiliate program data feeds, a debugger tool and more.
WebMerge 2.3 is a free update for registered users. It costs US$79 to register. It runs on Mac OS X and Mac OS 8.0 or later, as well as various versions of Windows.
