Adobe Press and Peachpit Press have introduced a new series of books dedicated to Adobe’s new Creative Studio applications.
The series kicks off with Adobe Photoshop CS Creative Studio (ISBN: 0-321-22043-9), a US$49 book created by former Adobe Creative Director Luanne Seymour Cohen. Filled with how-to recipes, the book features everything from patterns and textures to type effects, photo effects and special effects. It’s aimed at users who are already familiar with Adobe Photoshop CS’s basic tools and commands, but who want to use the software in more creative ways.
A new edition of Adobe Photoshop CS Classroom in a Book is hitting the shelves (ISBN 0-321-19375-X). This $45 tome provides a series of hands-on projects designed to build on the reader’s growing knowledge, offering step-by-step instructions, review questions, and a companion CD that includes all the book’s project files. It’s been revised with content specific to Photoshop CS, and covers the new browser, non-square pixel support, layer comps and more.
