On Friday, Digital Lifestyle Outfitters kicked off the weekend with the announcement of TransPod FM, an all-in-one unit that allows iPod owners to play tunes in their cars through a built-in digital FM transmitter that synchs with an unused frequency on their stereos.
TransPod FM uses the iPod’s internal battery and keeps the juice flowing by plugging into the cigarette lighter for a continuous recharge. It also sports an audio output jack that can be used with a cassette adapter or an auxiliary plug (both sold separately).
Retail is $99.99 and TransPod FM should start shipping on December 17, according to DLO’s web site.
