Freeverse Software on Tuesday released a demo version of ToySight, its camera-controlled game collection for the Macintosh.
ToySight works in conjunction with a FireWire-based video camera or Webcam, including Apple’s iSight, and puts players directly in the game as they use their on-screen image to interact with objects and control surfaces in the game. ToySight is actually a series of very different mini-games.
ToySight features a dozen different games for one or two players. The demo version is limited to one game, FreeFall, and one “toy,” the laser harp, along with a tutorial to help you get started. You can download it from Freeverse’s Web site now.
ToySight will be available through the Freeverse Store and Apple resellers for US$34.95. More details about ToySight can be found at the ToySight Web site.
