Without any fanfare, Internet Service Provider (ISP)
has released EarthLink TotalAccess 2004 for the Mac. The Mac release follows its PC counterpart by about three months.
EarthLink TotalAccess 2004 for the Mac
provides subscribers of EarthLink’s dial-up service to more conveniently connect to the service, access to e-mail and more.
EarthLink TotalAccess 2004 for the Mac adds EarthLink Accelerator, a tool that EarthLink says lets dial-up users access Web pages up to 5 times faster. The new version of EarthLink Total Access also features address book syncing that synchronizes your Mac OS X Address book with EarthLink’s own Web Mail.
What’s more, TotalAccess now automatically updates local access numbers, adds e-mail alerts that lets you preview the size, subject and sender before you download them, and incorporates a new EarthLink menu bar item.
EarthLink TotalAccess 2004 for the Mac is a free download for all EarthLink members, and it runs natively in Mac OS X v10.1 or higher (including Panther).
