Adobe Systems Inc. has posted a “tryout” version of GoLive CS, the Creative Suite version of Adobe’s WYSIWYG visual Web page design software. The 121MB download is available from Adobe’s Web site now.
GoLive enables users to do visual Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) authoring, and offers a split-view interface that lets you look at the layout and source code. Smart guides enable you to quickly position and snap-to-align design objects, while the visual layout grid allows you to create, edit and refine tables.
The Creative Suite version of GoLive provides you with the ability to open, place and edit “smart objects” from Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and PDF files within the GoLive environment. GoLive CS also features more advanced PDF integration than ever before, and sports a new customizable user interface and many other new features.
