Don’t like reading text on your Mac’s screen? Maybe you need to reflow it, and Amar Sagoo’s freeware application
aims to help.
The developer says that users typically experience two common problems when reading text on their computer screens — sometimes windows can get too wide, which can make it difficult to move your eye from one line of text to another; the other is that vertically scrolling through text can make you lose your place. Tofu aims to solve both these problems.
Tofu shows text in narrow columns similarly to how newspapers display content. It also eliminates vertical scrolling by having you move from column to column horizontally, like the pages of a novel.
Sagoo also plans to release a Cocoa component to help software developers that want to utilize Tofu’s abilities in their own applications.
