FileMaker, Inc. decided to kick off their Macworld Conference & Expo activities by demonstrating a variety of real-world database solutions that are all compatible with Mac OS X v.10.3 (Panther). The company noted that the solutions are aimed at small business and education users and were all created with FileMaker Pro 6.

The company also announced the immediate availability of FileMaker Recruiter 1.1, which helps professional recruiters build networks and track clients and candidates. The new version includes a built-in template for easy importing of Excel data, among other features.
Recruiter 1.1 and all the database solutions are on display at FileMaker’s booth (#817) during Macworld Expo. Attendees can receive an instant US$50 rebate on new or upgrade editions of FileMaker Pro 6 as well as other discounts available only during the show.
