Say good-bye to headphone cords with naviPod maker
naviPlay, a wireless stereo adapter and remote control that uses Bluetooth with third generation iPods. It includes a Bluetooth adapter that attaches to the iPod’s dock connector and a Bluetooth headphone adapter that allows you to use any headphones or speakers with a standard 3.5mm plug.
In addition, the headphone adapter includes an LCD display as well as buttons for basic remote audio functions and playlist and menu navigation. Both adapters use rechargeable lithium ion batteries that provide around 8 hours of use. TEN added that it plans to introduce more Bluetooth-enabled iPod accessories in the coming months, including stereo headphones and speakers and car stereo interfaces.
naviPlay will begin shipping during the first quarter of 2004. Pricing has not been announced yet.
