NewTech Infosystems Inc. has announced that Dragon Burn 3.1 is now compatible with Mac OS X v.10.3 (Panther) and includes support for almost all image and audio file formats. The software allows you to burn CDs and DVDs with DVD-R/-RW, DVD+R/+RW, Dual DVD, DVD Multi, and DVD Super-Multi drives. 52x CD-R and 24x CD-RW, as well as 4x DVD-R internal, drives are now supported.
Dragon Burn features NTI’s Dynamic Drive Support (DDS) and Live Update technologies, which eliminate software/hardware compatibility issues and optimize software compatibility with your burner, respectively. In addition, Smart Decision technology automatically selects the optimal writing method and speed, and the software scans and validates all files before burning. You can even burn multiple discs at the same time and get work done while Dragon Burn manages the process in the background.
Formats supported by Dragon Burn 3.1 include: AAC, AIFF, CDDA, MP3, SD2, WAV, and WMA on the audio side; ISO 9660, Joliet, UDF 1.5, UDF 1.02, HFS, HFS+, Hybrid, and Multi-Session data formats, as well as mixing Mac OS and ISO file systems on hybrid discs; (.bin, .cue, .cdr, .dmg, .iso, and .ncd image files; and Data, Audio, Video, CD-Extra (Enhanced), Mixed-Mode and Multisession CDs, as well as non-copy protected DVDs. After you create your disc, you can use the integrated Discus Label Design software to make and print disc labels and jewel case inserts.
Dragon Burn 3.1 is available now for US$49.95.
