If you find yourself in the habit of regularly checking the major search engines to see how your Web site ranks, you may want to simplify the task with
Caphyon LLC’s Advanced Web Ranking application. Version 2.3 is available now for Mac OS X.
Advanced Web Ranking 2.3 automatically queries over 130 search engines with the keywords you want to monitor and lets you know if you’ve moved up or down in the rankings since your last search. The software tracks your rankings’ progress over time and can display it relative to the positions of your competitors’ Web sites. A tabbed interface allows you to view the data in columnar or graphical reports, which Advanced Web Ranking can email to you or your customers or place in a folder for Internet access.
Version 2.3 adds several new features, including: date selection and data filters for the Current Rank report; backup/restore functionality, as well as scheduled backups; and the ability to remove project data for a certain time interval, generate reports for a previous date, set the search depth, and temporarily remove search engines and keywords.
The Professional edition of Advanced Web Ranking offers several features not in the Standard edition, including report exporting and e-mailing, automatic saves to a specific folder, scheduled updates and backups, and more. The Professional edition is US$99 while the Standard edition is $49. A Professional Plus version is $159 and adds in an extra 24 months of maintenance, which is 12 months for the other two editions.
