Churr Software has published Stock Investment Guide (SIG), which fills the void created by the lack of stock club analysis software for the Mac, according to the company. Until now, the only way to use such an application was to run Windows-only software in Virtual PC.
SIG can read and write standard .ssg files, plot data on a graph, automatically update 52-week high and low prices, display S&P 5-year growth estimates from downloaded .ssg files, print 2-page reports containing visual and data analyses, and more. Because SIG conforms to the standard, you can trade .ssg files with other club members even if they’re on Windows.
Churr notes that SIG doesn’t include data services. The company recommends that you join the National Association of Investors Corporation and pay US$25 per year for their premium service, which includes unlimited downloads of .ssg files.
SIG is available now for download from the Churr Web site for $39.95, with a free limited function demo version also ready for use.
