Hoping to win a few of those 100 million iTunes Music Store songs that Steve Jobs said will be given away through Pepsi? Apple now has a teaser page up for the contest, complete with an invitation to enter your email address for a reminder when it starts. If you’d rather not do so, just remember that it kicks off with a Super Bowl ad on February 1.
The page also links to the official rules, which state that the giveaway ends on March 31, unless all 100 million songs have been downloaded before then. The rules go on to explain that the songs will be given away in the caps of 20 oz. and 1 liter bottles of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi, and Sierra Mist, in addition to under the rims of 32 oz. fountain cups found at participating 7-11 convenience stores.
All products that contain game pieces will be marked “iTunes,” and 1 in 3 will be winners. You’ll know you won if you find a ten-digit alphanumeric code, which you will be able to enter in a special area of the iTunes Music Store to receive your free download. You can also send an self-addressed stamped envelope to an address listed in the rules and receive one free game piece.
Interestingly, the final rule notes that Pepsi is the sole sponsor of the promotion.
