Veer, which supplies creative types with a wide variety of digital images and clips for use in photography, illustration, and video, as well as unique typefaces, announced on Thursday that it is now the exclusive North American reseller of the CSA Archive, CSA Plastock, CSA Printstock, and CSA Snapstock rights-managed collections from CSA Images. The agreement adds approximately 15,000 to the ones available to Veer customers.
“With so many stock image providers taking a ‘kitchen-sink’ approach,” said Sheldon Popiel, Creative Director and founding member of Veer, “the addition of CSA Images exemplifies our commitment to offering only the best visual elements. They have incredible appeal to designers because they don’t look like everyday stock.”
CSA Plastock includes over 2,800 images and offers a wide variety of photographs of plastic objects, such as toys and other kitschy items. It’s described as “a 21st century spin on plastic via creative manipulation.”
CSA Snapstock offers over 4,500 line art images in the clip art tradition while CSA Printstock features more than 3,300 full-color illustrations that look like they were pulled from books. Finally, CSA Archive is a treasure trove in excess of 4,100 pieces inspired by American advertising.
Veer’s customers can now search over 17,000 rights-managed CSA Images by keyword or browse through the collections. Prices vary by such factors as placement, usage, region, and circulation; the company’s Web site features a calculator you can use to obtain a quote. Veer delivers the images as RGB, JPEG, or TIFF files at 300 dpi, in sizes ranging from 1MB to 40MB.
