Lynx Studio Technology, Inc., known for their digital audio products, recently announced that Mac OS X drivers are now available for their AES16, LynxTWO</ a>, and L22 audio expansion cards.
“We have taken advantage of the added capabilities that Mac OS X offers professional audio, including the new option to use multiple PCI cards with applications that accept this standard,” said David Hoatson, Lynx co-founder and head software engineer.
The new Lynx drivers hook into Mac OS X’s CoreAudio functionality and offer complete software control over the 24-bit 196kHz digital audio interfaces that come with the cards. They’re available now as free downloads from the Lynx Studios Web site.
