NEC-Mitsubishi Electronics Display of America Inc. on Monday announced an update to its 60 display series. The new 19-inch NEC MultiSync LCD1960NXi model debuts with an estimated street price of US$709.99.
The display features a thin-frame design and uses similar features as the LCD1960NX model it replaces. It sports a 0.294mm pixel pitch, 250 cd/m brightness, 500:1 contrast ratio and 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution.
The display sports both DVI-D and 15-pin VGA connectors, making it suitable for connecting to Power Macs equipped with digital or analog monitor outputs. It sports “No Touch Auto Adjust” technology that adjusts screen settings when first activated, and has a response time of 25ms.
Users can adjust the height of the display up to 110mm, and the monitor can tilt and swivel as well. It also features a detachable base and can be wall or arm-mounted using standard VESA-compliant hardware. It’s available in either white or black cabinet colors.
