Ephox, who are known for their enterprise-wide, cross-platform content authoring solutions, announced on Wednesday that EditLive! for Java 3.0 is available. The online XHTML authoring tool allows you to edit content from a Web browser on Mac OS X, Windows, Linux, or Sun Solaris. Ephox notes that it now offers support for Apple’s Safari Web browser.
“EditLive! 3.0 products have the winning combination of support for standards, such as cascading style sheets (CSS), XHTML and Unicode, and a simple user interface,” said Ephox CEO Mike Wallas.
Version 3.0 offers enhanced capabilities that include a new threading architecture for faster performance, the ability to apply CSS styles more easily and with improved rendering, sophisticated table editing, and more.
