In addition to his regular broadcast tonight, Your Mac Life host, Shawn King will show a QuickTime version of the iTunes/Pepsi commercial that is due to air at the Super Bowl this weekend.
As has been previously revealed, the Pepsi iTunes giveaway spot — entitled “I Fought the Law” — will feature 16 teenagers who have been sued by the recording industry for illegally downloading music from the Internet. What’s more, the press release hosted on Apple’s site features screenshots to show you what to expect.
The ad kicks off a promotion that will last through February and March: Pepsi will randomly mark 20-ounce and 1-liter bottles of Pepsi, Diet Pepsi and Sierra Mist with codes that can be redeemed for a free song from the iTunes Music Store. Pepsi and Apple have said that up to 100 million winning codes will be distributed — buyers will have a 1 in 3 chance of winning.
You can view the ad in its entirety from the Your Mac Life Web site.
