Blue World Communications Inc. has announced Lasso Studio 7, the latest version of their Web site database integration tool. The new version gains compatibility with Macromedia’s latest releases of Dreamweaver, Adobe’s newest GoLive and Blue World Lasso Professional.
Lasso Studio 7 is aimed at beginning to intermediate Web designers and developers who have a need to integrate database functionality with their Web site creations. It incorporates wizards and other tools to simplify the process of integrating Web site content and data.
The new version of Lasso Studio 7 supports LDML 7 tags, and can work with the single-user version of Lasso Professional 7. Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004 and Adobe GoLive CS are now supported, both for Mac OS X and Windows. Blue World has also enhanced the performance and stability of Lasso Studio 7 and made other improvements.
Blue World said that it will ship the new version of Lasso Studio 7 — separately for Dreamweaver MX 2004 and GoLive CS — within the next two months. A full license costs US$299. Upgrades cost $199, but anyone who purchases a license for Lasso Studio 7 from January 28, 2004 to the ship date will get a free upgrade. Beta versions are forthcoming; you can e-mail Blue World if you’re interested in participating in the Beta test.
