Developer Waves in Motion recently announced the release of Events Manager 2.0, which allows networked users to create and manage their own FileMaker events. The new edition features the ability to snooze events, the addition of reminders as events, user administration, and more.
In addition to adding and removing users, you can also use Events Manager 2.0 to build robots that perform specific tasks, such as sending email, any time you want. You can also use robots to run events on unattended computers, and the tool integrates with Waves in Motion’s Security Manager application so that all you have to do is click a radio button to instantly support all those users on your network.
Events Manager 2.0 runs in Mac OS 9 or Mac OS X. License fees start at US$50 for 5 users; the more users you want to add, the cheaper the per-user fee becomes. You can find a full pricing breakdown on the Waves in Motion Web site.
