Original Mac game developer CodeBlender Software has announced their newest effort — Rally Shift, a new rally racing game. The game is currently in development and is anticipated for release soon, according to the company.
Rally Shift puts you behind the wheel of high-performance rally racing cars on rally courses ranging from paved roads to dirt paths, passing through forests, mountain ranges and deserts. The game also features a two-player mode that enables gamers to go head-to-head on the same computer. Rally Shift features realistic physics that lets you slide your rally racer into turns on dirt roads and more. Five tracks will be included with the initial release, with more coming after the release to be available as free downloads.
This is CodeBlender Software’s third self-published Mac game release. Previous releases include DeepTrouble, a futuristic submarine game; and Epsilon Tahari: Reign of the Machines, a flight simulator action title set on the surface of an alien planet.
CodeBlender hasn’t set final system requirements or a price, but it has posted a Web page with some more details to tease gamers, including a screenshot gallery.
