Popular shareware developer Ambrosia Software recently announced an update to iSeek, their Internet search utility. Version 1.0.2 features interface fixes, better compatibility with Mac OS X v.10.3 (Panther), scroll-wheel support for site-switching, bug fixes and more.
iSeek places a search field in your menu bar, where it’s accessible from any application. It allows you to quickly run searches in a variety of search engines, check for entries in online references, look for software at VersionTracker and other update sites, and more. iSeek saves your recent searches and also allows you to add new search shortcuts as you come across them.
You can download an uncrippled demo of iSeek from Ambrosia’s Web site. The registration fee is US$15.00, and the utility requires Mac OS X v.10.1 or higher.
