MacEase announced on Monday that version 3.0 of its WebPrint Plus X system-wide printing enhancement utility is now available. The new edition adds a contextual menu that gives you access to WebPrint Plus X from any application, a preference for launching it as an invisible background utility, system-wide keyboard shortcuts that toggle its visibility and instantly print the Clipboard contents, additional customization preferences and more.
WebPrint Plus X allows you to save, edit and print information from any application on your Mac, including Web pages. You can decide exactly how much of a document to print, as opposed to being limited to a range of pages, and save yourself time, ink and paper in the process. WebPrint’s WebSaver feature allows you to drag and drop text and images from a Web page to theClipboard for use in another application or in WebPrint’s own editor, complete with the ability to add a time-date stamp as well as your own notes. WebPrint also allows you to save or print the Clipboard’s contents any time.
You can download a demo that launches 10 times. A license is US$39.95, and you can upgrade from earlier versions of the Mac OS 9 utility, WebPrint Plus 4.0 or 5.0, for $24.95. Upgrades from earlier versions of WebPrint Plus X are $19.95.
